Esto es lo que comente ayer sobre este modo que habia visto.

Madwifi doc: http://madwifi.org/wiki/UserDocs/AhdemoInterface

Y en el paper roofnet-mobicom05, en el capitulo 2.1 Hardware parrafo 3
(final pagina 2) dice:
"Each node is equipped with an 802.11b wireless card based on the
Intersil Prism 2.5 chip-set. The radios transmit 200 milliwatts of
power, operate with RTS/CTS disabled, and
all share the same 802.11b channel. The cards use a nonstandard
\pseudo-IBSS" mode that is similar to standard 802.11b IBSS (or \ad
hoc") mode, in that nodes communicate
directly without access points. Pseudo-IBSS omits 802.11's beacons and
BSSID (network ID) mechanism, solving IBSS mode's tendency to form
partitions which have different BSSIDs despite having the same network
ID. These partitions made it impossible to operate Roofnet reliably
with IBSS mode."

Y creo que hay un elemento de Click propio o de Roofnet llamado
llamado pseudo-ibss o algo asi (Seba Criado lo habia encontrado).

                                                  Saludos, Julio
