Me contesto a mi mismo con esta data... que muestra que sobre esto
todavía la cosa está muuuuyyyyy verde....
e inestable.

Hola,
Trato de hacer funcionar mi teléfono Nokia 3220 usando un cable USB de
esos que venden en Mercadolibre diciendo que son CA-42[1].
Al conectarlo al USB, lsusb lo ve así:
Bus 001 Device 027: ID 6547:0232
y con lsusb -v, puedo ver el chip:
iManufacturer 1 ArkMicroChips
iProduct 3 USB-UART Controller
bajé el módulo para ese chip y lo incorporé al kernel (2.6.16, ahora el
2.6.17 ya lo trae), entonces ya "funciona", con dmesg veo lo siguiente:
usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 27
usb 1-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
ark3116 1-1:1.0: ark3116 converter detected
usb 1-1: ark3116 converter now attached to ttyUSB0
pero tengo problemas al ejecutar gnokii. Copio lo relevante del archivo de
configuración:

Al ejecutar gnokii la primera vez, funciona, por ejemplo gnokii
-identify bloquea el celu.
