Invitación: IV FORO INTERNACIONAL DE SOFTWARE LIBRE
Ya están abiertas las inscripciones para participar en el IV Foro
Internacional de Software Libre (FISL), que será realizado del 5 al 7
de junio, en la PUCRS (Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do
Sul), en Porto Alegre. Para inscribirse basta acceder al sitio

La organización, liderada por el Proyecto Software Libre RS
www.softwarelivre.org - integrado por instituciones públicas y
privadas-, prevé la presencia de más de 200 conferencistas y millares de
congresistas. Habrá sesiones internacionales, presentando invitados
extranjeros, sesiones libres de debates no técnicos, sesiones de casos,
tutoriales, de carácter estrictamente técnico, oficinas prácticas, el
Workshop Software Livre http://www.inf.ufrgs.br/wsl2003/ organizado por
la SBC-RS (Sociedad Brasilera de la Computación), la 2ª Muestra de
Soluciones Libres y el Seminario Internacional Gobiernos y Software
Libre.
Consolidado como el mayor evento de este género en Brasil, y uno de los
mayores del mundo, el FISL reunió tres mil participantes en la edición
del año pasado, cuando recibió representantes de 11 países. Fue una gran
fiesta de la tecnología y la libertad. La I Muestra de Soluciones Libres
estrenó, en esta ocasión, con absoluto éxito, congregando
desenvolvedores individuales, pequeños y medios emprendedores y grandes
empresas como la gigante HP y la Cyclades.
Este año la Muestra volverá a escena, seguramente con el mismo éxito.

The organization, leaded by the Projeto Software Livre RS (Free Software
Project from Rio Grande do Sul) - www.softwarelivre.org - integrated by
public and private institutions -, counts on the presence of more than
200 lecturers and thousands of congressmen. There will be international
sessions presenting foreign guests, free sessions of non technical
debates, case sessions, technical-only tutoriais, pratical workshops,
the Free Software Workshop http://www.inf.ufrgs.br/wsl2003/ organized by
the SBC-RS (Brazilian Computing Society), the 2nd Free Solutions
Exhibition and the Governmets and Free Software International Seminar.
Consolidated as the biggest event of this kind in the country, and one
of the biggest in the world, the FISL reunited three thousand
participants in the last year edition, when received representatives
from 11 countries. It was a great celebration of technology and freedom.
The 1st Free Solutions Exhibition started with absolutely success,
uniting individual developers, small and medium entrepreneurs and big
companies like the giant HP and the Cyclades. This year the Exhibition
will return to scene, certainly with the same success.
