[LUG.ro] Xinerama XFree86, Matrox y S3Virge

Estoy tratando de configurar xinerama con dos monitores y dos placas de
video. Adjunto la salida de lspci [1] y el archivo de configuración de
XFree86 [2].
Uso la placa Matrox es la principal, ya que es la AGP.
El problema es el video y los colores. Funcionalmente está todo bien.
Estoy usando en un principio una resolución de 1182 x 864 a 75Hz y
24bits de color. Probé con otras resoluciones y colores, pero el
resultado es el mismo. Google no es mi amigo esta vez.
Detalle del problema.
Cuando abro algunas aplicaciones (por lo que veo hasta ahora son las
no-nativas de KDE, como Firefox y Evolution) es como si disminuyeran la
cantidad de colores, se invierten los mismos, etc, etc, etc.-
No sirve de nada un snapshot para mostrar el error, pues los colores
salen bien ahí. Creo que el problema está por el lado de la placas de
video, pero no lo encuentro.
Actualmente uso KDE, pero con XFCE el resultado es el mismo.
Esto es Debian GNU/Linux Sarge, kernel 2.6.8-2-686 #1 y con XFree86
Version 4.3.0.1 (Debian 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge1 20050901212727
Si alguien quiere más datos, le adjunto el log de XFree86 y lo que haga
falta.
También puedo hacer otras pruebas, si a alguien se le ocurre alguna.
